Schutte Sets Four New Records

Santiago Schutte set meet records in all four events in which he competed at the Southeastern Indiana Swim Association (SEISA) Conference
Championships on Saturday, June 27.

Swimming with the Jefferson County Swim Club, Schutte also won each of his events in the boys 15-18 age group.

Among the records Schutte broke:

  • 50 freestyle – 21.23 (previous record: Bryce Timonera, Batesville Swim Team, 21.98 set in 2010).
  • 100 freestyle – 47.07 (Timonera, 48.60 set in 2010).
  • 50 butterfly – 23.85 (Nash King, Batesville Swim Team, 24.03 set in 2021).
  • 100 IM – 53.55 (King, 54.69 set in 2024).

The meet was hosted by the Decatur County Sharks Swim Team in Greensburg.
