Whether helping others, hanging around the house, or sharing stories with friends and family, Mike found joy in life’s simple pleasures and meaningful connections. An avid outdoorsman, Mike enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his life. He also loved watching sports and “piddling” around his property. Above all, he treasured time with his family and took great pride in keeping up with his grandchildren’s lives and accomplishments.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Nancy J. (Cooper) Barker of Moorefield, IN; his daughter, Jamie Tuozzo and her husband, Steve of The Woodlands, TX; his son, Shawn Barker of Denver, CO; his step-son, Ian Brown and his wife, Brittany of Vevay, IN; his cherished grandchildren, Jordan, Miranda, Jackson, Molly, Aiden, Liam, Lochlann, and Juli.
