
Donald was born on June 18, 1956, in Batesville, Indiana, to Judith Slayback Lowe and the late Donald E. Lowe, Sr.
Donald worked as a labor operator for Consolidated Grain & Barge and dedicated more than 20 years of service to the company.
Donald enjoyed all things automotive, whether tinkering with cars, watching races, or participating in racing himself years ago. He especially loved watching his grandchildren play football and cherished the time he spent with his family.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Sandra S. Lowe; his children, Michael (Charity) Lowe, Melissa Lowe, and Sasha (Tommy) Disbro; his mother, Judith Stuard; his grandchildren, Dalton (Kori Cornett) Lowe, Dillon (Cadance Wilder) Lowe, and Allie (Devin) Hall; great-granddaughter, Laynie Hall; his siblings, James (Tisa) Lowe, Tracy (Bryon) Gibbs, Bobbi (Paul) Hizer, and Marie (Russell) Iles; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald (Helen) Lowe, Sr., his sister, Dawn Naegele and step father, Ralph Stuard.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation.
Burial will follow at River View Cemetery in Aurora, Indiana.
