(Franklin County, IN) – Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an undisclosed location in the eastern part of the county on Friday after human skeletal remains were discovered in a rural area.
The Franklin County Coroner was notified and requested assistance from the University of Indianapolis Human Identification Center Forensic Anthropology Team to aid in the examination and identification of the remains.
The investigation is ongoing.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says no additional information is being released at this time, and that further details will be provided as they become available.
