Indiana State Police say the initial investigation by their Crash Reconstruction Team indicated that a 2006 Ford F-150 driven by 46-year-old Steven Witte of Moores Hill was traveling westbound on State Road 350 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and into the path of a 2017 GMC Terrain driven by 33-year-old Jordan Walters of Milan.
The vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lane of State Road 350.
Witte’s vehicle spun around following the collision and came to rest in the middle of the road.
Walters’ vehicle went off the south side of the road and came to rest down an embankment.
Witte suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Cincinnati hospital for treatment.
Walters and his 33-year-old wife Sierra were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Dearborn County Coroner’s Office.
Their two small children, who were back seat passengers, were both transported to area hospitals.
ISP says toxicology results are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
State Road 350 was closed for nearly four hours for the crash investigation and cleanup.
