(Batesville, IN) – For Batesville basketball fans, Freudenfest weekend comes with a little extra tradition.
The 14th annual Batesville Basketball Alumni Golf Outing will be held Friday, July 17, at Hillcrest Golf & Country Club. The four-person scramble begins with a noon shotgun start.
The outing is open to everyone — alumni, fans, friends and family — making it part golf tournament, part reunion and part Bulldogs basketball celebration.

Cost is $100 for an individual or $400 for a team. Entry includes green fees, cart, skins, lunch and two drink tickets.
The event has helped keep Batesville basketball’s alumni tradition moving forward. Proceeds support the Batesville Basketball Alumni Award, a $500 award that has been sponsored by the alumni since 2015. Money from the outing also helps the program cover costs tied to equipment, developmental camps and other needs outside the school athletic department budget.
