(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg City Council approved a tax abatement for Valeo North America on Tuesday night.
Bryan Robbins, who is the Greensburg/Decatur County Economic Development Director, told council the company was asking for incentives on a $1.5 million investment on the retention of 68 jobs at a collective $3.9 million in salaries.
Robbins says the Tax Abatement Review Committee looked over the request.
The committee recommended a three-year, phased in tax abatement.
City council unanimously approved the request.
