(Batesville, IN) – Blake Roope has hung up his badge and service revolver, and has called it a career.
He retired from the Batesville Police Department on June 1.
Roope spent 23 years in law enforcement, including the past 17 with BPD.
He served as a patrolman, school resource officer, detective, lead detective, and assistant chief during his time on the force.
