(Ripley/Decatur Counties, IN) – The Ripley and Decatur County health departments have launched a friendly competition to promote wellness.
The 60-day Wellness War got underway last week.
Residents of both counties are encouraged to battle it out to accumulate points and chase a championship trophy, as well as bragging rights.
Doing the following will earn points:
- Working out –> the more time, the more points.
- Drinking water –> drink at least 64 ounces per day for it to count.
- Getting sleep –> get at least seven hours for it to count.
- Scheduling an annual physical.
- Doing things for your mental health.
- Brushing and flossing your teeth.

Decatur County residents report points at: Wellness War Reporting – Decatur County.
