INDIANAPOLIS — If you’ve ever dreamed of performing in front of thousands of roaring fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Indiana Pacers want to hear from you. The organization is opening auditions for all three of its entertainment teams ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season — the Indiana Pacemates, the Pacers Hype Crew, and the Pacers Power Pack.
“Our entertainment teams help to take the fan experience at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to the next level,” said Michelle Duggan, director of entertainment teams for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. “Regardless of their experience level, we want our candidates to bring their best to their audition ahead of what is sure to be another exciting Indiana Pacers season.”

Indiana Pacemates
The Pacemates are the Pacers’ official dance team, performing at every home game and making public appearances throughout the season. Candidates should be prepared to learn and demonstrate various styles — jazz, pom and hip-hop — during auditions.

Pacers Hype Crew
Known for high-flying stunts, breakdance skills and high-energy game-day performances, the Hype Crew is also active in the community year-round. Hopefuls must submit a video before an in-person finalist round.

Pacers Power Pack
The Power Pack is a squad of elite dunkers who bring acrobatic, high-flying energy to Pacers game nights. No pre-registration is required — just show up and jump.
- Open Jump: June 14, 6–8 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse
- Tryouts: June 17, 6–8 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse
- Pre-Registration: Not required

★ General Requirements for All Teams
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must hold a high school diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel throughout the Indianapolis area and beyond
