BHS Boys Track Season Ends at Regional

The 2026 track and field season came to a close Thursday night for the Batesville boys squad at the Greenfield-Central regional.

The 4 x 800 meter team of Cannon Clark, Cash Myers, James Rowland and Griffin Koester ran a 13-second personal record as a team at 8:08.55, which put them in 6th place overall. Myers and Rowland each had personal best splits to finish their careers. Clark and Koester ran season personal bests and missed lifetime personal bests by tenths of seconds.

Clark also ran a lifetime personal best in the 800 meter run (1:59.08), and just missed the podium with a 9th place finish.

And Koester recorded a personal best with his split in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
