(Osgood, IN) – Emily’s Brew Coffee Co. was honored as the Business of the Year at the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce’s 28th annual Business Recognition Luncheon on Wednesday afternoon at the original Upper Room Café in Osgood.
Sisters Rachel Lawhorn and Sara Salyer own and operate the coffee house on the Versailles courthouse square.
They celebrated five years as Emily’s Brew on April 1.
“When you’re a small business in this county and you work hard alongside so many others, we’re just so thankful and honored for being voted and nominated. We just really appreciate it,” Lawhorn said. “Very shocked, but very honored.”
Nineteen businesses that have joined the chamber since last May were also recognized.
