(Decatur County, IN) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is out with a list of unofficial detours to help you get around construction on U.S. 421 South:
- County Road 600 South and County Road 700 East
- County Road 60 East and 300 South
- County Road 100 South and 200 East, and
- County Road 180 East and 300 South
Motorists are reminded that traffic on those county roads will significantly increase during the construction period.
Deputies will monitor traffic in these areas.
They’re urging you to be aware of your speed as well as oncoming traffic, which may include large trucks.
