The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle occupied by three people was swept up in high water in the North Fork of Graham Creek.
All three were safely brought to shore and were being evaluated by emergency medical personnel.
This morning’s heavy rains left behind high water around Southeastern Indiana.
Residents were asked to stay clear of the area while rescue efforts were underway.
In addition to the sheriff’s office, agencies on the scene included the New Marion, Otter Creek (Holton) and Osgood volunteer fire departments; Indiana State Police, and Indiana Conservation Officers.
