Congratulations to Jac-Cen-Del’s Brody Huff; Payten Linville from South Ripley, and Milan’s Nevaeh Carpenter, who notched top honors in their respective sports in this week’s ORVC Report.
Huff is the Baseball Player of the Week after he drove in 6 runs, collected 3 hits, scored 2 runs, and doubled in three games for the Eagles.
On the mound, he gave up 4 hits, 2 earned runs, and struck out 6 over 7 innings in a win.
The Softball Co-Players of the Week are Linville and Carpenter.
Linville had 8 hits, scored 9 runs, drove in 5, stole 4 bases, tripled, and homered in four games for the Raiders.
Carpenter had 5 hits included a pair of doubles, 9 RBIs, and scored 6 times in two games for the Indians.
