(Holton, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) is accepting grant applications for the Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund now until the end of next month.
All nonprofit organizations serving Holton are invited to apply for up to $500 in grant funding to support a charitable program or project.
In the wake of the devastating 2012 tornado that struck the Town of Holton, claiming lives and causing widespread destruction, the community foundation stepped up to collect donations and aid recovery efforts, and fund the construction of a storm shelter.
Although the storm shelter was never built, what’s now called the Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund has grown substantially since then.
The Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund application must be submitted virtually via the Ripley County Community Foundation website at https://rccfonline.org/grants/ no later than 11:59 p.m.
on June 30.
The RCCF is committed to Connecting People Who Care with Causes that Matter and is located at 13 E. George Street, Suite B, Batesville.
