(Dearborn County, IN) – INDOT is updating progress on the State Road 46 bridge project over the Whitewater River in Dearborn County.
The agency says steel rehabilitation, painting and bridge deck replacements have been completed on the first two spans of the historic truss bridge.
These operations will be repeated for the three remaining spans, according to INDOT.
The overall project is expected to be completed, and the bridge reopened to traffic this fall.
