
(Batesville, IN) – Downtown Batesville will be bustling with activity this weekend.
The Kiwanis Downtown Carnival got underway Thursday evening and continues from 5 to 10 tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) from 1 to 9 p.m. in the Shopping Village Square.
Ride bracelets are on sale tonight for $20 and tomorrow for $25.
The Kiwanis also has its golf outing on Saturday at North Branch Golf Course with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
Proceeds from both Kiwanis events go toward the club’s programs and initiatives that serve local youth and families.
Batesville Main Street’s Mainopoly kicks off this evening with a Bar Crawl and continues with the board game tournament starting at Noon tomorrow at Amack’s Well.
The Main Street organization’s Touch a Truck takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Romweber Marketplace parking lot.
The family friendly event allows kids to explore fire trucks, police cars, construction rigs and tractors. A quiet hour without sirens and horns is scheduled from 11 a.m. to Noon.
