(Indianapolis, IN) – Former Batesville Community Schools Superintendent Paul Ketcham has been appointed to a state commission by Gov. Mike Braun.
Ketcham, who currently serves as the State of Indiana’s Assistant Secretary of Education, has been named to the Education Commission of State.
He serves on the commission at the pleasure of the governor.
Ketcham was Batesville Schools’ Superintendent for nine years before he stepped down to begin his new duties in January 2026.
He still lives in Batesville.
Ketcham’s appointment was among several announced on Monday by Gov. Braun to various state boards and commissions.
