(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg Community High School celebrated its inaugural White Coat Ceremony on Friday, honoring five students in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Pathway for their dedication, perseverance, and passion for exploring careers in the medical field.

The students who were recognized were Mary Harmon; Madison Gould; Kaeli Gindling; Mya Comer, and Zachery Blodgett.

Through their PLTW Biomedical courses, these students are gaining valuable hands-on experience, strengthening critical thinking skills, and preparing for future opportunities in healthcare and science.

GCHS officials say the white coat represents not only their accomplishments, but also the responsibility, compassion, and professionalism they are developing along the way.

At GCHS, students in the PLTW Biomedical Pathway have the opportunity to complete all four year-long courses with our outstanding in-house instructors.

School officials say, combined with the strong partnership with Decatur County Memorial Hospital, the students are well-prepared to take the next steps in their medical education journey.
