A field of 381 teams will begin play late this month after the pairings for the 59th Annual IHSAA Baseball State Tournament Series were announced Sunday evening on IHSAAtv.org.
Sectional games begin Wednesday, May 27, and continue through Monday, June 1, with regionals on Saturday, June 6.
Two regional championship games will be played in a doubleheader format at the same site with each winner advancing to the four-team semi-state on Saturday, June 13.
The four state championship games will be played at Victory Field in Indianapolis, home of the Triple-A franchise Indianapolis Indians, for the 28th year overall.
The games will be played in a doubleheader format on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20.
Host schools will announce playing schedules which will then be added to the online brackets at MaxPreps.com the week before the tournament begins.
Sectionals
Dates: May 27-June 1, 2026.
Times: Determined by host school.
Admission: $8 per sessionor $20 all sessions. Children age 5 and younger admitted free.
Home Team: The second-named team in each pairing is the designated home team except when they advance by virtue of a bye.
Exception: In six-team sectionals, the teams drawing the bye will play in the second semifinal game (Game 4) and will be the visitor in the championship game.
