UPDATE: Two Dead in Dearborn Co Crash

(Moores Hill, IN) – Two men from Southeastern Indiana were killed in a head-on crash Friday morning on the 13,000 block of State Road 350 in Moores Hill.

Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies arriving on the scene around 6:20 a.m. found both drivers dead inside their vehicles.

Based on the initial investigation, the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Cole Gaylord was traveling west on State Road 350 when he tried to pass an empty school bus in a no passing zone.

Once in the eastbound lane, Gaylord’s 2017 Hyundai Elantra hit a 2015 Chevy Trax driven by 38-year-old Kyle Inferrara head-on.

The road was shut down for about three hours while the Indiana State Police reconstruction team assisted with the crash investigation, which is being conducted by Dearborn County Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Elliott.

The Dearborn Count Sheriff’s Office received assistance from Moores Hill Fire and EMS, Indiana State Police, Dearborn County Communications, and the Dearborn County Coroner’s Office.
