St. Louis track and field finished second in both the boys and girls tri-meet at South Decatur that included Jac-Cen-Del on Wednesday.
In the boys meet, it was the host Cougars with 70 points; the Cardinals 36, and the Eagles 20.
For St. Louis, Ross Lieland placed first in discus with 105’11” into the wind. Nick Siefert placed fourth with 70′. Ross Lieland placed third in shot put with 27’10.5″. Ben Kranz placed third in the high jump with 4’4″. Blaise Frey placed fourth with 4’0″. Nicholas Lieland placed third in long jump with 12’3″. Salvador Schutte placed second in hurdles with 22.26 seconds. Simon Brelage placed fourth in hurdles with 24.16 seconds. Jordan Brelage placed fourth in the 100 meter dash with 14.32 seconds. Simon Brelage placed second in the 1600 meter run with 6:14. Blaise Frey took third with 6:20. The boys 4×100 meter placed second with 60.0 seconds consisting of Ross Lieland, Ethan Dierckman, Jordan Brelage, and Nicholas Lieland. Jordan Brelage placed first in the 800 meter run with 2:51. Henry Baker placed fourth in the 800 meter with 3:03. Nick Siefert placed fourth in the 200 meter dash with 41.77 seconds. The boys 4×400 placed second with 4:48 consisting of Jordan Brelage, Ross Lieland, Nicholas Lieland, and Ben Kranz.
Jac-Cen-Del claimed the girls meet with 52 1/2 points; St. Louis was second with 50 1/2, and South Decatur had 22.
For the Cardinals, Reagan Siefert placed first with 76’5″. Reagan Siefert placed second in shot put with 20’0.5″. Reagan Siefert placed second in the high jump with 4’2″. Halle Meyer tied for third with 3″10. Lucy Brelage placed second in long jump with 12′ 7.5″. Claire Baker placed third with 12’0.5″. Lucy Brelage placed second in hurdles with 19.59 seconds. Claire Baker placed second in the 100 meter dash with 15.47 seconds. Isla Padgett placed first in the 1600 meter with 6:49. Addy placed third with 7:08. Girls 4×100 relay placed second with 60.65 seconds consisting of Claire Baker, Halle Meyer, Reagan Siefert, and Lucy Brelage. Lesley Nuñez placed second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 73.71. Lucy Becker placed third with a time of 78.66 seconds. Eleanor Spielman placed second in the 800 meter with 3:16. Addy Wuestefeld placed third with 3:18. Girls 4×400 meter relay placed first with 5:23 consisting of Lesley Nuñez, Isla Padgett, Lucy Becker, and Claire Baker.
