(Franklin County, IN) – Early in-person voting before the May 5 primary is underway at the Franklin County Courthouse in Brookville.
Registered voters are asked to come to the courthouse foyer to start the process.
Voting is taking place in the Election Room on the first floor of the courthouse. There is a handicap ramp in the back of the building, with a wheelchair available, if needed.
Hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Friday, May 1.
Extended early voting hours will take place at the courthouse on Thursday, April 23 and 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.
Saturday early in-person voting hours will he held on April 25 and May 2, with voting taking place those days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Clerk’s Office in the courthouse, and at Ignite Church (the former Church on Fire) on State Road 229 in Batesville.
The deadline to vote early in-person is Monday, May 4 at Noon.
Voters are required to provide a government-issued photo ID to vote in-person.
