(Greenwood, IN) – Trent Moorhead has been named Center Grove boys varsity basketball coach, pending board approval.
Moorhead – whose brother Brad is the boys’ basketball coach at South Dearborn, and is the son of South Ripley School Superintendent and WRBI sportscaster Rob Moorhead – went 79-27 in four seasons at Hauser, including 26-3 this year.
The Jets won back-to-back semi states, three straight Mid-Hoosier Conference titles, and two regionals under Moorhead’s guidance.
He was also a two-time HBCA Coach of the Year at Hauser.
Trent Moorhead is the grandson of the late Indiana Basketball Hall of Famer Gus Moorhead.
