The Los Angeles Angels clobbered the Cincinnati Reds 10-2 in a game heard last night on WRBI. Cincinnati has lost three in a row following a five-game winning streak. The Reds continue to struggle offensively; they could muster only four hits against Angels pitching last night. Chase Burns gave up five earned runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings and took the loss. It was the Philadelphia 76ers over the Indiana Pacers 105-94 in NBA action last night in downtown Indianapolis. Jarace Walker led Indiana with 17 points. The Pacers’ season finale is tomorrow evening at home against the Detroit Pistons. Coverage begins at 5:30 on 103.9 FM and the WRBI App.
Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton posted an update on social media, saying that he’s playing five-on-five for the first time since last June. He tore his Achilles tendon during Game Seven of last season’s NBA Finals.
The Indianapolis Colts and veteran cornerback Kenny Moore II have mutually agreed to explore a trade, according to ESPN. He is going into the final year of a $30 million contract extension. Moore has 21 interceptions and six forced fumbles in nine seasons with the Colts. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2021.
Luke Ertel from Class 4A state champion Mt. Vernon (Fortville) is Indiana Mr. Basketball 2026. He will wear jersey number 1 when the Indiana All Stars play Kentucky in their annual series. Ertel is signed to play collegiately at Purdue.
