(East Enterprise, IN) – Firefighters rescued a man who was stuck in a grain bin in Switzerland County on Thursday evening.
Crews from East Enterprise and other neighboring departments used a grain bin rescue tube to get the man out (pictured).
The initial call came in around 7:10 p.m.; the victim was freed around 9 p.m.
He reportedly fell into the grain bin, but after firefighters and other first responders plus some local farmers and neighbors rescued the man, he was able to climb out of the structure under his own power.
Other agencies taking part in the rescue were the Jeff Craig and Moorefield fire departments and Switzerland County Emergency Response.
