Ronnie P. Ellison, 79, of Versailles passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville. Ronnie was born on Sunday, April 6, 1947, in Liberty, Kentucky; son of Pat and Lela (Dorn) Ellison. Ronnie worked as an operator at Knauf Fiberglass in Shelbyville for 20+ years and served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and gardening. Most of all Ronnie cherished spending time with his family.
Ronnie will be missed by his son Josh (Heather) Ellison of Batesville; daughter Sarah Ellison of Monterey, Tennessee; sister Mary (Marvin) Hughes of White Rock, Indiana; and granddaughter Thea Ellison.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Lela Ellison; wife Carla Ellison; and 2 brothers.
There are no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Ronnie to the donor’s choice.
