RSRF Awards $168K in Grants

(Rising Sun, IN) – The Rising Sun Regional Foundation (RSRF) awarded $168,000 in new grants in the first quarter of 2026.

These grants include:

● Aberdeen-Pate Water Company – $27,000 for SCADA Control Systems update;
● New Marion Volunteer Fire Department – $35,000 for firefighting gear;
● Osgood Volunteer Fire Department – $15,000 for communications equipment;
● Ripley County Parks & Recreation – $10,000 for electrical updates;
● Rising Sun Church of Christ – $17,000 for HVAC upgrades in community use area;
● Rising Sun Municipal Utilities – $27,000 for sewer influent pump replacement;
● Rising Sun Ohio County Community School Corporation – $27,000 for HVAC system; and
● Safe Passage – $10,000 for shelter door access control system upgrade.

Applications for this year’s third grant cycle must be submitted by 4 p.m. on July 15.
