Mr. Theodore “Ted” Rodman, Jr.

Mr. Theodore “Ted” Rodman Jr., age 71, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on September 30, 1954 in Bedford, Indiana. He was the beloved son of the late Theodore Rodman Sr. and Mary Ann (Parker) Rodman. He was raised in Bedford, Indiana, and attended Needmore High School in Needmore, Indiana. On March 12, 1978, Ted was united in marriage to Evelyn Lee Nail in Bedford, Indiana. Ted was a hardworking man who spent the majority of his life in construction. He also worked for Gold Star Dairy in Little Rock, Arkansas for five years. He later owned and operated Ted’s Small Engine Shop in Villa, Arkansas for eight years. Ted enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and had a true passion for classic cars. He was a dedicated enthusiast who could always be found admiring or talking about them, and he especially enjoyed watching classic car auction shows. He also loved listening to country music and had a special fondness for anything Carhartt. Ted will be remembered most for his quick wit, his wonderful sense of humor, and the joy he brought to those around him. Ted passed away at 1:58 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Carrie Barwick of Vevay, IN; his sons, Michael Rodman and his companion, Angela Baker of Little Rock, AR, and Theodore Rodman, III. and his wife, June of Milton, KY; his grandchildren, Macy Barwick (Megan Markarian), Autumn Jones (Garrett Valentine), Deanna Rodman, and Matthew Barwick; his brother, Randy Rodman of Bedford, IN; his sisters, Anita Horner of Bedford, IN, and Barbara Brooks and her husband, Danny of Mitchell, IN; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kay Rodman of Bedford, IN, Carol Nail Horn and her husband, Randy of St. Louis, MO, Paul Nail and his wife, Kelly of Franklin, TN, and Tom Love of Lawton, OK; and his several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Rodman, Sr.; his mother, Mary Ann (Parker) Rodman; his wife, Evelyn Lee (Nail) Rodman, died June 23, 2015; his father-in-law, Nathan M. Osborn; his mother-in-law, Ruth Evelyn (Deckard) Osborn; his sisters, Diann Grant, Mickee Gilbert, and Marilyn Meadows; his brothers, Wilburn Rodman, and Bill Rodman; his brothers-in-law, James Horner, Lewis Grant, and Bill Nail; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Love and Pat Nail.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2026, by Bro. John Hale, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
