Linda Ann Fogle, 66, passed away on April 6, 2026 surrounded in love by her children. She was born on July 24, 1959, in Shelbyville, Indiana, to Gene and Josephene Fogle.
Linda was a proud graduate of North Decatur High School, Class of 1977, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 1981, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She built a meaningful career in both sales and human resources, and was known as a strong leader, a deeply caring manager, and a mentor to many.
She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and warm smile, love for her children and animals, and the joy she found in the simple things—spending time in nature, gardening, and cooking for family and friends. She also held a special love for her alma mater, Purdue.
Linda is survived by her children, Callie Branson and Cooper Branson; her brother, Mark Fogle; and her mother, Josephene Fogle. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Fogle.
A visitation will be held at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Friday April 10, 2026 from 4pm until 7pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday April 11, 2026 at 10am.
