BHS Track Wins Outdoor Opener

(Brookville, IN) – Batesville swept Franklin County in a dual high school track and field meet in Brookville Monday evening.

The Bulldogs took the girls meet 106-22, and it was BHS winning the boys meet 98-25, with BHS athletes claiming 29 blue ribbons.

Thirty personal records were also broken by Batesville athletes.

Bulldog first place/blue ribbon finishers were:

  • High Jump: Maycee Holtkamp (4-10) and Gage Lancaster (5-8)
  • Long Jump: Jenna Goldsmith (15-2) and Zadiin Small (18-2.5)
  • Pole Vault: Isabel Meyer (9-0) and Winston Garrett (11-0)
  • Shot Put: Ella King (38-8) and Camden Kaiser (43-0)
  • Discus: Ella King (109-10)
  • 100/110m Hurdles: Reillee Adams (18.03) and Gavin Britch (16.94)
  • 100m dash: Abby Miller (13.09)
