Southwestern took both the boys and girls four-way middle school cross country meets with St. Louis, Jac-Cen-Del and Milan.
Scores in the boys meet were Southwestern 80; St. Louis 47; JCD 40, and Milan 11.
On the girls side, Southwestern 65; Jac-Cen-Del 55; St. Louis 42, and Milan 16.
For the St. Louis boys, Ross Lieland placed third in discus with a distance of 101’4″ and fifth in boys shot put at 29′ 5.5″.
Ben Kranz placed fourth in high jump with 4’5″. Blaise Frey placed fifth with 3’10”.
Nicholas Lieland placed fourth in long jump with 12’3″. Henry Baker placed fifth in long jump with a jump of 11’6″.
Salvador Schutte placed second in hurdles with 23.16 seconds. Simon Brelage placed fourth with 25.9 second time.
Ben Kranz placed fourth in the 100 meter with 13.77 seconds.
Simon Brelage placed second in the 1600 meter run with 6:15.8. Blaise Frey placed third in the mile with 6:16.2.
The boys 400 meter relay clocked a time of 62.19 seconds, and was composed of Ross Lieland, Henry Baker, Ethan Dierckman, and Nicholas Lieland.
Jordan Brelage placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 73.2 seconds. Ben Kranz placed fourth in the 400 meter dash with 73.3 seconds.
Simon Brelage placed third in the 800 meter with a time of 3:00.1. Salvador Schutte placed fifth at 3:09.
Boys 4×400 meter – made up of Jordan Brelage, Blaise Frey, Nicholas Lieland, and Ben Kranz – placed second at 5:03.7.
For the Cardinal girls, Reagan Siefert placed second in discus with a throw of 63’8″. Lucy Brelage placed fourth in the discus with 48’3″.
Eleanor Spielman placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 21″1″. Lesley Nuñez placed fifth with a throw of 19’3″.
Reagan Siefert placed fourth in the high jump with 4’3″.
Lucy Brelage placed second in long jump with 11’10”. Claire Baker placed fourth in long jump with 11’3″.
Lucy Brelage placed second in hurdles with 20.08. Halle Meyer placed third in hurdles with 21.58 seconds.
Claire Baker placed second in the 100 meter dash with 15.3 seconds. Lesley Nuñez placed fourth with 16.04 seconds.
Isla Padgett placed third in the 1600 meter with 6:49.4. Addy Wuestefeld placed fifth with 6:49.8.
The girls 4×100 meter placed third with 61.59 seconds, and is composed of Claire Baker, Halle Meyer, Reagan Siefert and Lucy Brelage.
Lucy Becker placed fourth in the 400 meter with 1:20.3. Isla Padgett placed fifth with 121.36 seconds.
Addy Wuestefeld placed fifth in the 800 meter with 3:16.5.
Lucy Becker placed fifth in the 200 meter dash with 37.7 seconds.
The girls 4×400 meter relay team – made up of Isla Padgett, Reagan Siefert, Lesley Nuñez and Claire Baker, came in third with a time of 5:15.2.
