(Versailles, IN) – Versailles has been recognized as an International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Trail Town.
The IMBA’s designation recognizes recognizes communities that understand how trails support economic vitality, community health, and outdoor access.
“Trails are an important part of what makes Versailles such a great place to live, work, and play,” the Town of Versailles wrote on Facebook. “We are grateful for our partnerships with Versailles State Park and Versailles State Park Mountain Bikers that help Versailles lead with trails.”
Versailles is one of 28 communities to receive the IMBA’s inaugural designation.
The other Indiana community to be named a Trail Town is Nashville.
