Henry Allen Wade Jones, age 5, passed away on March 29, 2026. He was born on February 17, 2021, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to his loving parents, Anthony Shane Jones and Kelli Leigh Jones.
Henry had a deep love for the outdoors, especially playing in the creek. He was fascinated by real race cars and had a passion for helping Daddy with his race truck. He would also watch and try helping his Daddy machine or design. He adored superheroes as he was always dressed in a cape, and he proudly embraced his role as a LEGO master builder. Henry had a remarkable gift for connection—everyone he met quickly became a friend. He cherished his family, especially his older sister, and loved spending time with his three dogs and two cats. His bedtime ritual was to blow raspberries as mommy and daddy would give goodnight kisses. Known for his bright personality, Henry greeted everyone with a smile and a warm hug.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Kelli Jones; his beloved big sister, Braelyn Freytag; his maternal grandparents, Chris Curry, LeAnn Hall and Nikki Curry; his paternal grandparents, Rose Theetge Jones, Kevin Norris and Joseph Jones; his uncle, Bobby Jones (Shawna); Aunt Nicole Jones; his uncle Ian Curry (Jessica); his uncle Brennan Nickel (Sam); his Aunt Breslin Nickel; his Aunt Halle Berry; his Uncle Wesley Curry; Aunt Shyanne; Uncle Braxton; cousins Serinity, Addie, Caine and Layne.
Henry was preceded in death by his sister Shaelynn Jones, grandfather, Ken Hall, and his great-grandparents, Danny and Shirley Steiner, Donald and Rose Marie Curry, Frank and Evie Theetge, Virgil and Mary Jones; great-uncle Robert Allen Steiner
Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana. Attendees are asked to wear superhero shirts and are encouraged to drive their Hot Rods for Henry. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM at the funeral home, with Jason Terrell officiating.
