(Westport, IN) – South Decatur senior baseball player Cayden Drake has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic pursuits at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati.
Drake was a two-year varsity letterman in basketball and baseball at Batesville High School before transferring to South Decatur this year.
In baseball last year at BHS, Drake went 5-0 with a 0.88 on the mound.
He helped South Decatur win a basketball sectional this past season, and led the Mid-Hoosier Conference in rebounding, and was third in scoring in the conference.
Drake earned All-MHC honors and was Honorable Mention All-State.
Cayden is the son of Paul and Dayla Drake, and the brother of Conner and Brooke.
He plans to major in Business Finance at Mount St. Joseph.
