(Indianapolis, IN) – The Indiana Secretary of State’s Office reminds Hoosiers that there is now just one week left to register to vote before the upcoming voter registration deadline.
Eligible Hoosiers who are not yet registered are encouraged to take a few minutes to register or confirm their registration status by visiting IndianaVoters.com.
You can register to vote online, update your information, or check your registration status by visiting IndianaVoters.com or by completing a voter registration form at your local county voter registration office.
The deadline to register to vote online at “IndianaVoters.com” is 11:59 p.m. on April 6. You have until the close of business that day to register to vote in-person at your county election offices.
To be eligible to register to vote in Indiana, you must:
- Be a United States citizen
- Be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day
- Have lived in their precinct for at least 30 days prior to the election
