(Greensburg, IN) – The Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County is rolling out a new event this spring.
The Tree City Classic Film Festival will be Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12 at Wolf Theaters in Greensburg.
Ten classic films representing a variety of genres will be shown on the big screen.
- Singin’ in the Rain (Rated G) Sunday 12:30
- Casablanca (PG) Sunday 6 p.m.
- The Searchers Friday 8:30 p.m.
- The Thomas Crown Affair Saturday 11:30 a.m.
- Breaking Away (PG) Saturday 5:15
- City Lights-Silent movie with live musical accompaniment by Roger Lippincott Friday 7 p.m.
- Notorious Friday 4 p.m.
- When Harry Met Sally Sunday 3 p.m.
- E.T. Saturday 2 p.m.
- The Howling Saturday 8 p.m.
The featured guest will Dee Wallace, who starred in E.T. and The Howling.
Wallace will make two in-person appearances on Saturday the 11th will and take part in Q and A sessions.
Autographs and selfies with Wallace will be available for an additional charge.
Admission to the Dee Wallace gatherings are $10 each but all other events are free.
Local film historian Ryan Maddux will be the host throughout the weekend and will provide insight into each film.
The film festival is made possible by support from Visit Greensburg and the Indiana Arts Commission.
