(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Singers finished as sixth runner-up in the Small School Mixed Division at the Indiana State School Music Association state show choir finals in Indianapolis this past weekend.
The Small School Mixed Division included schools with enrollments up to 1,524 students – some more than twice the size of Batesville High School.
It was the first time in school history that the Batesville Singers competed at the state finals.
The group is in its fourth year under the direction of Batesville High School choir director Dan Borns.
