(Osgood, IN) – The Carson Hughes Foundation will award $1,000 scholarships to five graduating Southeastern Indiana high school seniors this year.
Foundation leaders say the scholarships are given in honor of Carson’s life, including his character, and ability to inspire others to live with kindness, integrity, determination, and purpose.
Hughes was a senior at Jac-Cen-Del High School when he drowned in the Versailles State Park lake in March 2024 while he was doing what he loved, photographing wildlife.
Scholarship applications are now being accepted.
