(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville and its Fire and Police departments have launched a drone program.
Officials say the new technology will help first responders locate victims faster, improve firefighter safety, and strengthen emergency response throughout the community.
The program is made possible through a Ripley County Community Foundation grant and Batesville Fire and Rescue’s Givebutter fundraiser.
“Because of you and our strong partnerships, we are better prepared to serve and protect,” reads a statement from Batesville Fire and Rescue.
