(Columbus, IN) – River Valley Legal Aid Pro Bono will hold a free legal aid phone clinic for residents of Decatur and seven other counties in its service area tomorrow (Tuesday).
The district also includes Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, Jennings, Brown, Decatur, Rush, and Shelby counties.
This program uses local volunteer attorneys to offer free legal consultations to low-income residents.
Participants can expect to receive a brief consultation or advice over the phone tomorrow between 3 and 5:30 p.m.
To take part, you must register by calling (812) 378-0358 between Noon and 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Those who participate will receive free legal advice on matters such as family law, landlord-tenant issues, simple wills, and small estates.
They will not entertain criminal law questions.
