The Mid-Hoosier Conference (MHC) has announced its 2025-26 all-conference boys’ basketball team. Local players named All-MHC are South Decatur’s Cayden Drake and teammate Drake Scaggs, plus Logan O’Dell and Owen Rennekamp from North Decatur.

The Phoenix Suns knocked off the Indiana Pacers 123-108 in NBA action from downtown Indianapolis heard last night on the Sports Voice. Andrew Nembhard led the Pacers with 23 points. Indiana has dropped 11 in a row. The Blue and Gold will try to snap the losing streak tonight at home against the New York Knicks in the second of two back-to-backs. Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. has signed a two-year contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals. The deal runs through the 2028 season…

The Bengals also officially announced the signings of a couple of unrestricted free agents. Safety Bryan Cook and defensive end Boye Mafe both signed three-year deals through 2028. Cook is a Cincinnati area native who played collegiately at UC, and won two Super Bowls with Kansas City; Mafe is coming off Seattle’s hoisting of the Lombardi Trophy last month…

Cincinnati is also reportedly signing two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen. NFL Network is reporting it’s a two-year deal worth up to $28 million. Allen was drafted by Washington in 2017, and played last year with Minnesota, where he started all 17 games and recorded 68 tackles and three-and-a-half sacks.

Quarterback Daniel Jones is returning to the Indianapolis Colts, who signed him to a new two-year deal worth up to $100 million. Jones is recovering from an Achilles injury but says he will be ready to play when the 2026 season kicks off.

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the the Cincinnati Reds 9-5 in Cactus League baseball last night in Glendale, Arizona. The Reds and San Francisco Giants will meet in split squad action tonight in both Scottsdale and Goodyear.

In college basketball, Purdue topped Northwestern 81-68 in the third round of the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago last night. The Boilermakers face second-seeded Nebraska in the quarterfinals this evening.
