(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg City Council approved an ordinance to vacate a right-of-way 806 East Randall Street on Tuesday night.
Public Projects Director Zac Wirrig says the property owner requested the right of way vacation of what is Warren Street, which runs north-south from Randall.
“It ends at the railroad tracks, so it does not continuously go anywhere. So they requested half of the street be vacated, along with the alley off that street that goes through both of their properties,” Wirrig said. “Their long-term goal is to potentially look at securing their property with a fence down the road.”
A public hearing on the ordinance took place before the council meeting.
No one spoke for or against the ordinance.
