Standing water on the course forced event organizers to cancel the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce golf outing on Thursday.
The 15th Annual Chamber Golf Fundraiser was set with tee times at 11:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club.
Chamber Director Melissa Tucker said the golf outing has been rescheduled for June 12.

Rain showers have been moving through the region this week, however, it has not resulted in any damaging storms. The same cannot be said for a Central Indiana high school.
Strong winds tore apart about half of the bleacher section on the football field at Edinburgh High School Tuesday evening. Fortunately no one was injured.
