(Southeastern IN) – A Flood Watch is in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Forecasters soils remain moist, and extra runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Rainfall through Wednesday morning is expected to be between two and three inches, with higher amounts expected along a narrow west-east axis.
You’re urged to monitor forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
Those who live in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action if flooding develops.
