(Indianapolis, IN) – Greensburg’s Aly Powers has been tapped as one of Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 senior girls’ basketball players.

Stats, game observation and statewide research were conducted during the season and throughout the state tournament to determine the top 60 players.

Powers and the others who were selected will participate in the 44th annual Top 60 Senior Workout on Sunday, March 8 at Beech Grove High School in Indianapolis.

The workout is hosted by Hoosier Basketball Magazine in conjunction with the Indiana High School Athletic Association and the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.

The first session is from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by the second session from 3:30 to 5:30.

Both sessions are open to the public; admission is $9.00.

Other Top 60 invitees from schools not far from here are Shawe Memorial’s Audrey Barron, who led the state in scoring this year at 28.8 points per game; Juliana Davis from Madison, and Jennings County’s Mollie Ernstes, who will play collegiately at Kansas.
