The NFL Scouting Combine is underway in downtown Indianapolis as the top collegiate athletes showcase their skills for coaches and front office personnel with each of the league’s 32 teams. It’s the 39th consecutive year that Indianapolis has hosted the event. The Combine is slated to stay in Indy through at least 2028.
In college basketball, a major Big Ten matchup takes place tonight inside Mackey Arena when the #8 Purdue Boilermakers go up against 13th-ranked Michigan State. Both teams have identical records at 22-5 overall and 12-4 in the Big Ten. Purdue coach Matt Painter says the biggest thing the Spartans bring to the table is rebounding.
