(Brookville, IN) – St. Michael held off St. Louis 23-14 in girls 6th grade basketball Thursday night in Brookville.
Cardinal coaches say the team played their best game of the season.
Despite being at a distinct size disadvantage, coaches say the team fought hard.
Edie Walke, Sarah Durham, and Eleanor Spielmann all had four points while Halle Meyer added a bucket.
St. Louis travels to Greensburg on Saturday morning.
The 6th Grade Lady Cardinals played their best game of the season Thursday night at St. Michaels in Brookville but came up short 23-14. Despite being at a distinct size disadvantage, the girls fought hard all night. They had another balanced night of scoring, thanks to much improved passing from previous games. Edie Walke, Sarah Durham, and Eleanor Spielmann all had 4 points with Halle Meyer adding 2 more.
