
Last night in college basketball around the state, Butler snapped a six-game losing streak with a 93-89 win at Georgetown; Northern Kentucky downed Purdue-Fort Wayne 87-71; it was Northern Iowa 81, Indiana State 60; UIC walloped Evansville 84-46, and Valparaiso knocked off Bradley 79-72.

The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed free agent wide receiver Kendric Pryor to a one-year contract for the 2026 season. Pryor has spent the majority of the past three seasons on Cincinnati’s practice squad.
Anthony Richardson is trying to work his way out of Indianapolis. ESPN is reporting that the Colts expect the former first-round quarterback to request a trade during the offseason. Richardson failed to meet expectations in his first two NFL seasons before losing a training camp battle to Daniel Jones heading into 2025.
The WNBA season is right around the corner. The Indiana Fever announced their preseason schedule yesterday. Indiana has just two exhibition games in 2026. The Fever will visit the New York Liberty on April 25 before hosting the Dallas Wings on April 30.
